摘要: The liver undergoes changes in structure and function old age. There are age-related mass, blood flow hepatocyte sinusoidal cell morphology. These associated with significant impairment of many hepatic metabolic detoxification activities. This has implications for systemic aging disease. For example the metabolism lipoproteins predisposes to cardiovascular effects caloric restriction beneficial terms ameliorating deleterious phenotypic ageing, but from mechanistic point view, does not just simply reverse or delay cellular changes. Instead appears act via discrete mechanisms such as sirtuin pathways that impact bioenergetics, apoptosis other functions. a pivotal coordinating role when dietary intake is reduced, therefore mediated by liver.
