摘要: In 1926 the Bibliographical Society published first edition of "A Short-Title Catalogue Books Printed in England, Scotland and Ireland English Abroad 1475-1640". Now universally known as "STC", it has become indispensable to historians, literary scholars, bibliographers, whose work involves printed sources before Civil War. The second part this was be 1976: volume I covering A-H completes main text. It is followed by a third volume, containing addenda that ten years use have already produced, detailed indexes printing booksellers, with dates places business, concordance other lists catalogues, supplementary material.
