摘要: Female commercial sex workers are females that have multiple sexual partners and high risk due to exposure blood, semen, vaginal discharge contaminated with microorganisms causing sexually transmitted disease such as infection caused by Human papillomavirus (HPV). This behavior creates a susceptibility for in obtaining HPV, which is the leading cause of cervical cancer. Cervical cancer most common Indonesia, why screening, especially workers, must be done. The purpose this experiment was compare detection methods HPV using Hybrid capture-II (HC-II) order find out risks types (type 16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 39,45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59, 68) Pap smear done Campurejo Kediri Public Health Center. study descriptive observational cross-sectional method. samples were 47 female whose HC-II method at Clinical Pathology Laboratory Dr. Soetomo Hospital Surabaya, where 32 showed positive results (68.1%) infected high-risk 15 negative (31.9%), from three (6.4%) dysplasia (Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia/CIN 1) 44 (93.6%) normal smears inflammation or cervix. Statistically significant difference between Papsmear (p=0.000).
