摘要: Abstract Self-diffusion coefficients of oxygen in a spinel solid solution system, MgAl2−xFexO4, have been measured by gas-solid isotope-exchange technique using18O as tracer. Mo¨ssbauer spectra the same studied over temperature range where materials were paramagnetic. The line broadening characteristic these was interpreted terms distribution electric field gradient at57Fe nuclei. Debye temperatures calculated from dependence absorption intensity their spectra. compositional effect followed that activation energy diffusion. A linear relationship between and square exists.
