摘要: Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) is a relatively rare and highly fatal neoplasm that arises from the biliary epithelium. Prognosis generally poor survival limited to few months. Here we present case of advanced ICC successfully treated by chemosensitivity test-guided systemic chemotherapy combining S-1 cisplatin (CDDP). Abdominal ultrasonography computed tomography (CT) showed low-density masses 50 15 mm in diameter, respectively segment VIII enlarged lymph node para-aorta. Ultrasonography-guided fine needle biopsy diagnosed tumors as ICC. Since patient inoperable for metastasis, she underwent gemcitabine. Six months after initiation chemotherapy, CT revealed progression pleural dissemination effusion. The admitted anticancer drug sensitivity testing June 9, 2008. Based test results, elected administer CDDP. Two into second treatment, reduction decrease After eight cycles 17 mo diagnosis, alive well no sign recurrence. We conclude may effectively determine appropriate regimen
