摘要: In this study, groups of diploid (control) and triploid brook trout were subjected to a 5 min acute handling/confinement stress. Blood samples collected from equal numbers fish at regular predetermined intervals, beginning prior confinement continuing for up 3h after confinement. These blood used the measurement hematocrit plasma cortisol glucose concentrations. The effects cohort sampling diel cycle on these variables also analysed. Except minor differences, both responded similarly stress, with short-term elevations in levels, more sustained increase levels. No significant differences found between their reactions sampling. However, act removing an individual tank caused changes levels cohorts remaining that (p < 0.001). Significant observed ploidy 0.05) but not or hematocrit.
