摘要: Aβ deposition is a driving force of Alzheimer's disease pathology and can be detected early by amyloid positron emission tomography. Identifying presymptomatic structural brain changes associated with might lead to better understanding its consequences provide diagnostic information. In this respect we analyzed measures cortical thickness subcortical volumes along hippocampal, thalamic striatal shape surface area applying novel analysis strategies for magnetic resonance imaging. We included 69 cognitively normal elderly subjects after careful clinical neuropsychological workup. Standardized uptake value ratios (cerebellar reference) 11-C-Pittsburgh Compound B (PiB) were calculated from tomographic data measurement bilateral hippocampus, thalamus striatum. Associations shape, area, volume tested using regression models that significant predictors as covariates. Left anterior hippocampal was regional PiB (P 0.05, FDR corrected). Within the entorhinal region both hemispheres, negatively (P < 0.05, Hence, localized may potential biomarkers disease.
