摘要: Abstract Hybrid solar cells have been prepared by deposition of thin films cadmium sulfide (CdS) on transparent conductive glass substrates, followed the formation poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) coatings. Conductive carbon paint (CP) layer was applied top P3HT before evaporation gold (Au) as metal contact. When film thickness (d) smaller than 600 nm, photovoltaic (PV) performance CdS/P3HT enhanced with CP layer. In case d = 305 nm, presence increased open-circuit voltage (Voc) from 335 to 710 mV and short-circuit current density (Jsc) 1.23 1.42 mA/cm2 well. The analysis current–voltage (I–V) curves in dark same type indicates that reduced leakage contact resistance, rectification ratio. I–V hole-only Metal-1/P3HT/Metal-2 devices suggest facilitates hole-extraction P3HT. comparison charge recombination times at interface suggests without layer, Au atoms could reach areas near process. It is concluded not only improves ohmic between but also impedes diffusion evaporated deep inside polymer films. This leads better PV cells.
