摘要: The possibility that condensation reactions, leading to polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) formation in protoplanetary atmospheres, could occur with negative species, such as stabilized anionic ortho-benzyne (o-C 6 H ― 4 ), is analysed through accurate quantum dynamical modelling of the initial steps. Once primary electron attachment on neutral o-C has taken place, producing corresponding metastable ion, evolution this resonant intermediate terms its energy locations and lifetimes suggests a radiationless stabilization by very rapid intramolecular vibrational redistribution excess carried attached electron. possible involvement highly reactive molecular anion an ensuing PAH synthesis also qualitatively discussed.
