摘要: We have previously shown that changes in gene expression occur Arabidopsis thaliana. L. (Heyn) during cold acclimation (SJ Gilmour, RK Hajela, MF Thomashow [1988] Plant Physiol 87: 745-750). Here we report the isolation of cDNA clones four cold-regulated (cor) genes from and examine their response to low temperature, abscisic acid (ABA), water stress, heat shock. The results Northern analysis indicated transcript levels for cor genes, represented by pHH7.2, pHH28, pHH29, pHH67, increased markedly between 1 4 hours treatment, reached a maximum at about 8 12 hours, remained elevated as long plants were kept (up 2 weeks). Returning acclimated control temperature resulted transcripts falling rapidly those found nonacclimated plants; this occurred within pHH7.2 pHH29 pHH67. Nuclear run-on transcription assays temperature-regulated was controlled primarily posttranscriptional level while pHH67 regulated largely transcriptional level. also both ABA application but not possible significance being stress is discussed.
