摘要: The Chinese sturgeon, Acipenser sinensis, is an anadromous protected species. Since the construction of Gezhouba Dam, its migration pattern has been blocked, and length natural spawning site reduced to less than 7 km. fish found alternative ground located in a narrow reach downstream close Dam site. In this article, we applied Delft3D-Flow model simulate sturgeon habitat obtain flow field state, used measured data validate model. Results indicate that accuracy good Based on above simulation, horizontal mean vorticity was chosen as one characteristic values assess hydraulic environment habitat. We improved computing method by absolute value original vorticity. calculated from simulative output distribution described. vorticities are 0.45 ∼ 3.8×10−3s−1 research region 1.5∼ 2.0×10−3s−1 at adult mass fields. Vorticity strength selection helps survive under changing national environment. paper can provide reference for protection ecological regulation Three Gorges Reservoir.
