摘要: Abstract Soybean plants (Chief variety) were labeled with C 14 or H 3 by growing the from seedlings to maturity in hermetically sealed growth chambers containing either tritiated water radiocarbon dioxide. Plants cultured for approximately 90 days at 86·2 μc of and 337·8 /g carbon hydrogen, respectively. developed a significantly greater number visible main axis nodes than controls while fewer. yielded fewer pods seed controls. tumor-like enlargements stem-tip regions; youngest leaves exhibited yellow white chlorophyll-deficient areas. Roots numerous nodule-like structures. The did not differ control fatty acid composition percent oil. planted shortly after harvest into normal-looking plants. After storage 44 weeks, both lots germinated but former failed survive. Seedlings stored weeks grew normally except some leaf-pigment anomalies primary leaves.
