摘要: Climate change impact assessments require detailed information regarding the of weather in current climate. This study focuses on road network, using UK Highways Agency Traffic Information System data and NIMROD precipitation radar to determine traffic speeds along M1 M6 corridors for use future assessments. The results show that whilst does speeds, there is no universal significant single factor relationship between two variables only a small amount variance can be explained by intensity precipitation. However, threshold appears exist simply at 0 mm h−1 (i.e. precipitation/no precipitation). significance this tested paper, but it clear vehicle unlikely local conditions such as capacity drainage are equally important take into account.
