摘要: The presence of Campylobacter species was studied in three Antarctic penguin species, Adelie (Pygoscelis adeliae), chinstrap antarctica) and gentoo papua). A total 390 penguins were captured 12 different rookeries along the Peninsula with differences amount human visitation: six colonies highly visited [Stranger Point, King George Island (P. papua P. adeliae); Hannah Livingston antarctica); Deception Paradise Bay, papua)], rarely [Devil’s Byers Peninsula, papua); Cierva Cove, Ronge Yalour Avian adeliae)]. 23 strains isolated from nine rookeries. lari subsp. eight samples (seven one C. concheus 13 (ten adeliae volucris two (both We did not find any significant prevalence spp. between populations areas. This is first report isolation region.
