摘要: Pilots are able to extract information about their vehicle motion and environmental structure from dynamic transformations in the out-the-window scene. In this presentation, we focus on optic flow which specifies heading distance objects environment, scaled a temporal metric. particular, concerned with modeling how human operators necessary information, what factors impact ability utilize critical information. general, psychophysical data suggest that visual system is fairly robust degradations display, e.g., reduced contrast resolution or restricted field of view. However, extraneous flow, i.e., introduced by sensor rotation, greatly compromises performance. The implications these models for enhanced/synthetic vision systems discussed.
