Ethical behavior in retail settings: Is there a generation gap?

摘要: A new generation, earmarked the Thirteeners, is an emerging force in marketplace. The Thirteener cohort group, so designated since they are thirteenth generation to know American flag and constitution, encompass over 62 million adult consumers. All former "Mall Rats" have grown up. normative structures that these Thirteeners employ both acquisition disposition retail settings empirically assessed this study through use of a national sample. findings suggest more likely attempt rationalize away unethical retailing consumption behaviors than their parent's generation. managerial theoretical implications for practice 1990s associated with observations discussed.
