摘要: Glucose utilization and production changes in concentrations of plasma metabolites were studied lactating non-lactating sheep response to three levels insulin infusion whilst maintaining euglycaemia. responded similarly both ewes but, as circulating lower animals, these parameters appeared more sensitive sheep. Changes glycerol free fatty acids during lactation indicated reduced sensitivity adipose tissue amino also less lactation, suggesting protein synthesis insulin. urea beta-hydroxybutyrate similar those indicating hepatic metabolism. It is concluded that ovine muscle are resistant increased but the liver unchanged or increased. The rate removal from circulation was higher animals.
