摘要: Recent evidence connects the proteins that are encoded by BRCA1 and BRCA2 breast cancer susceptibility genes, other tumour suppressors — such as Fanconi anaemia gene products to cell-cycle checkpoint control DNA repair homologous recombination. Do these connections represent a linear biological pathway or do they, instead, reflect network of processes prevent aberrations in chromosome structure during S G2 phases cell cycle? This distinction has important implications for current models explain pathogenesis syndromes associated with BRCA mutations.
