摘要: Sizing for transcutaneous aortic valve replacement (TAVI) relies on non-invasive imaging. Incorrect sizing may result in adverse outcomes including paraprosthetic regurgitation, asymmetrical expansion which impair prosthesis durability and, the case of severe errors, device embolisation or root rupture. This review addresses optimal approach sizing. It is based currently available data anatomical implications using different imaging modalities, steps how to reproducibly measure correct annulus diameter MSCT, and current evidence strategies.
