摘要: Primary vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) is caused by a congenitally short ureteral tunnel through the bladder submucosa, associated with lateral displacement of orifice. As result, resistance generated collapse when pressure rises (micturition) overcome, and urine flows in retrograde direction, towards kidney. VUR most common abnormality observed children urinary tract infections (UTIs). The condition was found 30% schoolgirls covert bacteriuria (1) 33% overt infection (2). In contrast to preponderance females UTI population beyond infancy, sex distribution neonates prenatal dilatation 5:1 male female (3).
