摘要: Presents a simple, robust and practical method for object simplification applications where gradual elimination of high-frequency details is desired. This accomplished by sampling low-pass filtering the into multi-resolution volume buffers applying marching cubes algorithm to generate triangle-mesh hierarchy. Our simplifies genus objects can also help existing algorithms achieve better results. At each level detail, multi-layered mesh be used an optional efficient antialiased rendering.
