摘要: As IEEE 802.11 access points (APs) open up services to mobile clients, opportunistic the roadside communication infrastructures from traveling vehicles has become more prominent and drawn considerable attention. In particular, data uploading a great potential for many vehicular ad hoc network applications, where both intermittent connectivity time-varying vehicle arrivals have presented significant challenges current analytical models. Our focus is on carrier sense multiple with collision avoidance-based medium control (MAC) layer performance in last-hop drive-thru Internet, considering contention nature of uplink realistic traffic model. Analytical simulation results show intrinsic relationships among density speed, coverage AP, achievable throughput, total amount uploaded by vehicles. We further investigate efficacy an admission scheme AP achieving optimal operating region that high throughput large each vehicle.
