摘要: Experiments were done to provide a detailed map of the location and description morphological characteristics vasopressin (AVP-IR)-, neurophysin II (NII-IR)- oxytocin (OXY-IR)-immunoreactive neuronal perikarya in forebrain cat. In addition, cells retrogradely labeled following injections tracers into neurohypophysis was determined. The distribution AVP-IR NII-IR similar all cases studied. Most containing OXY-IR observed hypothalamic paraventricular (PVH) supraoptic (SON) nuclei. cell bodies found regions nucleus diagonal band Broca, dorsal chiasmatic nucleus, anterior hypothalamic-preoptic area, periventricular circularis, perifornical area lateral hypothalamus, accessory SON, tuber cinereum (Tca), medial amygdala. density greater than that these regions. Several areas also contain only perikarya: suprachiasmatic (Sc), bed stria terminalis, region substantia innominata ventral globus pallidus (SI/GP). dorsomedial hypothalamus contained perikarya. immunoreactive AVP multipolar had spinelike processes over their somata proximal dendrites. majority PVH SON round or oval, whereas those outside nuclei fusiform triangular. mean somal SI/GP significantly (P less 0.05) larger other examined, Sc smaller groups examined. morphologically AVP, except appendages did not have processes. generally uniform size. same regions, but different from SON.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 400 WORDS)
