Electrophoretic deposition of transparent ZnO thin films from highly stabilized colloidal suspensions.

摘要: The parameters that control the stability of ZnO-nanoparticles suspensions and their deposition by electrophoretic were studied, so as to organize assembly compaction nanoparticles. addition cationic polyelectrolyte - Polyethylenimine (PEI) with different molecular weights was investigated, in order study effectiveness influence weight organic chain on dispersion. It found PEI highest provided better dispersion conditions. Cathodic EPD performed under previously optimized conditions over electropolished stainless steel substrates. Experimental results showed process these allows obtaining dense transparent ZnO thin films. Deposition times intensities analyzing resulting films characteristics. Finally, deposits characterized FE-SEM, AFM, spectroscopic techniques.
