摘要: Piper amalago L. is a medicinal plant traditionally used as healing agent for wounds, burns, abscesses, boils, and insect bites. The current study aimed to evaluate the possible effects of aqueous crude extract obtained from P. leaves, in different concentrations incubation times, using vitro model mouse fibroblasts (3T3). was tested at 24 h time analysis cell viability, cytotoxicity, proliferation, morphology, immunostaining, adhesion spreading assays, well determine hydroxyproline concentration activity metalloproteinase MMP2. Morphologically, after exposure 15 150 µg/mL, cells maintained yet greater number with more expansions body larger than control were observed. treated culture also showed cells, expansion body, adherent spread over substrate, juxtaposed, central spherical nucleus. treatment induced polymer, fibronectin, collagen I. Biochemical results significant increase amino acid 96 h. did not induce loss viability until reached positively modulating adhesion, degree spreading, organization microfilaments. promoted acid.
