Comparison of theoretical and absolute experimental fully differential cross sections for ion-atom impact ionization

摘要: We report fully differential cross section (FDCS) calculations and absolute measurements for ion-atom impact ionization. Using the COLTRIMS (cold target recoil ion momentum spectroscopy) method, we have obtained FDCS both in scattering plane as well out of 100 MeV amu-1 C6+ ionization helium. results are presented different projectile angles ejected-electron energies. The compared with a theoretical calculation employing an asymptotically exact three-body final-state wavefunction that contains all active two-particle subsystem interactions to infinite order perturbation theory. For electron, Hartree-Fock (HF) bound-state is used initial state numerical continuum-state eigenfunctions HF potential final state. In plane, these very good agreement experiment small intermediate transfer. However, some significant discrepancies found large transfer outside plane. These disappear upon comparison successively less-differential sections.
