摘要: A recently developed fluvial erosion model for blanket peatlands, PESERA-PEAT, was applied at ten sites across Great Britain to predict the response of peat environmental change. Climate change 2099 derived from seven UKCP09 future projections and UK Met Office’s historical dataset. Land management scenarios were established based on outputs earlier published investigations. Modelling results suggested that as climate changes, will be spatially very variable Britain. Both relative changes absolute values sediment yield predicted higher in southern eastern areas than western northern parts Britain, peaking North York Moors England. Areas with high precipitation low temperature have yield. The summer desiccation may become more important under change, dominant controlling long-term However, Moors, appeared driving measures shown provide a means mitigate against impacts erosion.
