摘要: Abstract Bacterial populations transported from ground environments to the atmosphere get dispersed throughout downwind areas and can influence ecosystem dynamics, human health, climate change. However, vertical bacterial distribution in free troposphere was rarely investigated detail. We collected aerosols at altitudes of 3000 m, 1000 m, 10 m over Noto Peninsula, Japan, where westerly winds carry continental marine areas. During sampling period on March 10, 2012, air mass 3000 m Chinese desert region by winds, a boundary layer formed below 2000 m. Pyrosequencing targeting 16S rRNA genes (16S rDNA) revealed that community predominantly composed terrestrial bacteria, such as Bacillus Actinobacterium species. In contrast, those 1000 m included bacteria belonging classes Cyanobacteria Alphaproteobacteria. The entire rDNA sequences clone libraries were identical species, which originated Sea respectively. origins masses meteorological conditions contribute variations communities atmosphere.
