摘要: Background: The alterations in extracellular calcium level may influence intracellular and possibly play a role the pathogenesis of essential hypertension. Aim: purpose was to find out association between serum levels hypertension; compare normotensive controls, hypertensive subjects on channel blockers, antihypertensive medication other than blockers. Materials Methods: Thirty one individuals including normotensives (n = 12) hypertensives 19) were enrolled for study their blood pressure recorded. Hypertensive group sub divided into two: blockers Serum measured by Accucare Calcium Arsenazo III kit. Differences groups analyzed using ANOVA. Results: No significant difference found groups; no correlation pressure. Also those insignificant. Conclusions: are tightly regulated. Subtle changes do not affect
