摘要: Certain variables were tested for their influence on the color of ceramic metal restorations. The included firing temperature, condensation technique, modeling liquid, and brand porcelain. In addition, different nominal shades was compared. measured with a Minolta CR-121 small-area colorimeter. small (7 mm2) measuring area enabled readings to be made actual crown specimens rather than disks. results expressed in CIELAB system enabling comparisons related visual perception. following conclusions can drawn from study. 1. colorimeter is able detect statistically significant perceivable differences between variation parameters associated making replications restoration significantly greater error repeated measurements same restoration. 2. Restorations brands porcelain studied have noticeably colors despite having shade. 3. Color changes caused by choice liquid not this If mean are truly representative, using Rainbow or Carv-eze liquids Vita VMK may produce that just barely detectable. 4. manipulative temperature little
