摘要: Depression is a prevalent burden for patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) and one that under-recognized consequently under-treated. Although several studies have explored the association between depression symptoms, treatment adherence outcomes in Euro-American patient groups, quantitative qualitative exploration of these issues from different cultural ethnic backgrounds has been lacking. This review discusses methodological associated measuring South Asian origin who 3- to 5-fold greater risk developing ESRD. There need advance research into development accurate screening practices this group, an emphasis on utilizing rigorous approaches evaluating use both emic (culture-specific) etic (universal or culture-general) instruments.
