Programmed alternative reading of the genetic code

摘要: This study describes the phenomenology of several related unusual events which occur during protein expression from genes include special sequences. These events, termed "programmed alternative coding events", ubiquitously, including AIDS retrovirus. The author explains mechanisms underlying these in a large variety genes, as well implications for gene general, and carcinogenesis particular.
