摘要: Purpose: Traditionally the placement of a nephrostomy tube at conclusion percutaneous nephrolithotomy is considered standard care. However, need for has been questioned by numerous authors. We evaluated literature regarding tubeless nephrolithotomy, and determined potential candidates whether this procedure can be new care complex stone removal.Materials Methods: A MEDLINE® search was conducted between May 1997 January 2010 to detect studies reporting nephrolithotomy. “Nephrolithiasis,” “percutaneous nephrolithotomy,” “tubeless” “lithotripsy” were used as medical subject headings (MeSH) key words.
