摘要: Bdellovibrio bacteriovorus is a small bacterial parasite that infects other Gram-negative bacteria, resides in the periplasm of host cell, and utilizes macromolecules as source nutrients. Evidence summarized suggesting B. secretes proteases nucleases synthesized its own cytoplasm are targeted to cell. Possible mechanisms for this trans-trimembrane protein transport process discussed.
