摘要: Next-generation sequencing provides a powerful new approach for developing functional genomic tools non-model species. This study aims to investigate the spotted seal (Phoca largha) transcriptome by of Illumina paired-end technology. We obtained total 52,146,394 reads mixed tissues liver and spleen from seal. The de novo assemblies yielded 354,014 contigs 178,466 unigenes. In addition, bioinformatics analysis revealed 4425 simple sequence repeats (SSRs). Fifty SSRs were randomly selected validate amplification determine degree polymorphism in DNA pools. Thirty-five primer pairs successfully amplified expected fragments detected significant among 28 individuals. These results contribute understanding genetic makeup provide useful information research this
