摘要: BACKGROUND Shami goats are an economically and sentimentally important breed of in the Mediterranean region. known for superior fecundity productivity compared with other indigenous breeds. also appear to be more susceptible various infectious production-related diseases. Therefore, establishment breed-specific hematologic reference intervals (RIs) is required. OBJECTIVES The objective this study was establish RIs some variables report effects age sex on these values. METHODS A total 100 were used determine red blood cell (RBC) count, packed volume (PCV), hemoglobin concentration, mean (MCV), mean corpuscular concentration (MCHC), (MCH), whitle (WBC) absolute values, percentages neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils, neutrophil lymphocyte ratios (N/L), using traditional manual laboratory methods. RESULTS Reference several generated according American Society Veterinary Clinical Pathology guidelines. Females found have significantly higher RBC, MCHC, WBC while males MCV values lower numbers. Adult PCV, MCV, MCH, numbers juvenile goats. CONCLUSION Data presented here could as baseline information evaluate health status assist reaching a diagnosis pathologic
