摘要: Phomopsis juglandina (Sacc.) Hohn., which is the conidial state of Diaporthe (Fuckel) Nitschke, and main pathogen causing dieback branches twigs walnut was recently detected in many orchards from Romania. The symptomatological, morphological, ultrastructural, cultural characteristics, as well pathogenicity an isolate this lignicolous fungus, were described illustrated. optimum periods for infection, under conditions prevailing Southern Romania, mainly occur spring (April) autumn months (late September-beginning October). Strong inverse correlations (p < 0.001) found between potential evapotranspiration lesion lengths on 2019. forms two types phialospores: alpha beta; role beta phialospores not known pathogenesis. In Vitro, optimal growth temperature mycelial hyphae range 22–26 °C, pH 4.4–7. This should be monitored continuously due to its damaging infestations intensive plantations.
