A Simple and Effective Method of Color Image Quantization

摘要: In this paper a new algorithm for color quantization of digital image is presented. The method based on finding homogeneous regions colors with level tolerance depending the CIE2000 metric. A consequence obtained from results other methods that number final depends very importantly characteristics image. demonstrated proposed have better behavior than Median-Cut and Principal Component's algorithms.
