Location of the Nodes of Metameric Color Stimuli

摘要: Two metameric color stimuli have spectral-power-distribution curves which, in general, intersect at three or more wavelengths within the visible spectrum. One of these is located short-wavelength region, one middle-wavelength and long-wavelength region. Recent work by Thornton puts 448 ± 4 nm, 537 3 612 8 respectively. The rather precise locations nodes are examined this paper. method generating found to a strong influence on location as well frequency occurrence nodes. Different methods will give different distributions, making it difficult put much significance Thornton's results.
