摘要: ABSTRACTInelastic attenuation, quantified by Q, the seismic quality factor, has considerable impact on surface reflection data. A new method for interval Q-factor estimation using near-offset VSP data was based an objective function minimization measuring difference between cumulative Q estimates and those calculated through Qs. To calculate we used all receiver pairs that provided reasonable values. estimate two levels, equation links amplitudes at different levels could provide more accurate values than spectral-ratio method. improve estimates, which rely traveltimes, a high-accuracy approach in frequency domain to determine time shifts.
