摘要: In summary, readers are encouraged to read carefully the IRT articles in this special issue. They provide theoretical as well practical arguments favor of using models health outcomes measurement field. At same time, should be aware that field is complex and software limited and, my judgment, not very user friendly (although some packages better than others). addition, sample sizes will often need larger classical measurement, at least with more general models, applications rarely straightforward. Considerable experience needed ensure successful development validation instruments for measurement.
