摘要: Relationships between phosphate sorption and soil properties have been examined for ten soils from each of four parent-material groups in N.E. Scotland. Aluminium extracted by the Tamm acid-oxalate method gives highly significant correlations all groups, except granite soils, where highest correlation is with loss on ignition, it best single criterion sorption. Acid-oxalate-soluble iron also correlations, but no case does addition a term significantly improve estimate given aluminium alone. Iron dithionite-0.05N-HCl treatment very poor relationships, again as 2.5% acetic acid. Sorption correlated ignition organic carbon, indicating that active are closely associated matter. Clay silt values, unconnected matter, lost normal H2O2 HCl, useless criteria sorption, residues extraction sorb only about 10% much original apart soluble aluminium, clay minerals play relatively minor role. The differences mainly quantitative, basic igneous slate high capacities contents.
