摘要: Abstract Shanteau (1975) claimed to have presented a ‘critical test’ which favored the averaging over multiplicative (or additive) description of inference process. This note points out features data overlooked by yield precisely opposite conclusion. However, slightly more complex versions either model than discussed can handle all results. In particular, an additive with only two parameters one tested describes his data, in addition results number other studies on sequential information processing.
