摘要: Early ecologists understood the need to document geomorphic form and process explain plant species distributions. Although this relationship has been acknowledged for over a century, with exception of few landmark papers, only past decades have experienced intensive research on interdisciplinary topic. Here authors provide summary intimate relations between vegetation geomorphic/process hillslopes fluvial systems. These are separated into systems (primarily fluvial) in dynamic equilibrium those that nonequilibrium conditions including impacts various human disturbances affecting landforms, processes, interrelated, attendant patterns processes. The conclude conceptual model stream regime focusing sediment deposition, erosion, can be expanded organize predict life history strategies.
