摘要: Fault management and security of computer networks present new challenges increasing complexity. Decision procedures for fault diagnosis, security-related threats, follow-up actions must, however, be evaluated on the basis sound theoretical foundations economic costs various strategies. This paper presents a minimum expected cost solution diagnosis corrective actions. Several notions to are introduced. The methodology is applicable both non-malicious malicious faults. As novel application, problem choosing between two strategies containing spread network worms discussed.
