摘要: This study investigates the performance of an integrated osmotic and microfiltration membrane bioreactor (O/MF-MBR) system for wastewater treatment reclamation. The O/MF-MBR simultaneously used (MF) forward osmosis (FO) membranes to extract water from mixed liquor aerobic bioreactor. MF facilitated bleeding dissolved inorganic salts thus prevented build-up salinity in As a result, sludge production microbial activity were relatively stable over 60 days operation. Compared MF, FO process produced better permeate quality terms nutrients, total organic carbon, as well hydrophilic biologically persistent trace chemicals (TrOCs). high rejection by also led accumulation TrOCs bioreactor, consequently increasing their concentration permeate. On other hand, hydrophobic readily biodegradable minimally detected both permeates, with no clear difference removal efficiencies between two processes.
