摘要: Abstract An improved particle swarm optimization algorithm (PSO) is presented for optimal planning of multiple distributed generation sources (DG). This problem can be divided into two sub-problems: the DG size (continuous optimization) and location (discrete to minimize real power losses. The proposed approach addresses sub-problems simultaneously using an enhanced PSO capable handling in a single run. A design experiment used fine tune via proper analysis parameters interaction. treats constraints differently by adopting radial flow satisfy equality constraints, i.e. flows distribution networks, while inequality are handled making use some features. was tested on practical 69-bus system. Different test cases were considered validate consistency detecting or near solution. Results compared with those Sequential Quadratic Programming.
