摘要: Boulder is well known as one of the obstruction material and problematic to underground excavations constructions. Although presence boulder in weathered rock mass was revealed reported by many researchers, but occurrence physical characteristics boulders weathering profile are still not clearly understood.  This paper attempts revise issues formed granite which include formation, distribution, properties location found tropical profile. As a product, dominantly moderately completely zone (Grade III V). consists corestone Grade I or II surrounded some concentric sheet V rindlets due reaction spheroidal weathering. The with thickness ranges 0.2 mm 2.0 m decomposition dissolution biotite feldspar that gradually transforming saprolite. This information useful geotechnical engineers researchers for engineering purposes classification especially excavation structure design.
