摘要: In this study an ethno-botanical survey was carried out in the fringe villages located at periphery of Shimla Water Catchment Sanctuary. As sanctuary area is not completely fenced villagers have access inside sanctuary. An attempt made to prepare a document important flora and information from local community about their ethnic uses. The indigenous knowledge traditional uses collected by personal interviews during field trips. Plants with correct nomenclature were arranged family name, vernacular part use, remedies having medicine, ornamental, fodder many other studied. entirely focused on revealing medicinal potential possessed plants growing wild sustainability for betterment mankind.
