摘要: Injection of energetic neutrals hydrogen and deuterium has been used effectively to heat plasma in several fusion experiments. All applications date have neutral beams with pulse lengths the subsecond range. The injected power extends into megawatt level, approaching 10 MW case PDX D-III, beam energies range 20 80 keV. Key tokamak experiments are planned which injection will be applied at levels extending toward 25-MW A major difference injectors being for future from those operating today lies their need longer lengths. Extending higher a high brightness is goal development laboratories. Other areas include improving atomic fraction nearly 100%, increasing brightness, reducing impurity content beam.
